PaperLens Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Evrenex (“we”) for using the PaperLens app. By using PaperLens you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

1. Using PaperLens

We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use PaperLens on devices you own or control, for your own documents. Please don’t copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the app, and don’t use it for anything illegal, such as scanning documents you have no right to copy.

2. Your documents are yours

Everything you scan or create belongs to you. It is stored on your device, not with us, so you are responsible for keeping copies of important documents (for example with Export or your phone’s backup). If you lose your phone or uninstall the app, we cannot recover your documents.

3. Please check important results

  • Text recognition (OCR) can make mistakes. Check names, numbers and amounts before relying on them.
  • Signatures you add are drawn pictures, not certified digital signatures. Whether a signed document is accepted is up to whoever receives it.
  • Redaction (blacking out) hides content in the exported file. Always check the exported file before sending sensitive documents.

4. Free version and ads

The free version is supported by a banner ad from Google AdMob. You may also choose to watch a video ad to use a Pro feature once; this gives no subscription and no lasting access. How ads use data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

5. PaperLens Pro subscription

  • PaperLens Pro is an optional subscription, monthly or yearly. It removes ads and unlocks the features listed in the app.
  • Payment is charged to your Google Play or App Store account when you confirm the purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may differ by country.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the period ends.
  • If a free trial is offered, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel before then.
  • You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time in Google Play (Subscriptions) or in your Apple ID settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their refund policies.
  • We may change prices or features in the future. Price changes for existing subscribers follow Google Play and App Store rules, including notifying you first.

6. Updates and availability

We may update, change or stop parts of the app. We try to keep it working well, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.

7. No warranty

PaperLens is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms, including that the app fits a particular purpose.

8. Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, lost data or lost profits from using or not being able to use PaperLens. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be changed by agreement.

9. Apple users

If you got PaperLens from the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies. These terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without affecting the consumer protection laws of the country where you live.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
