Evidence Camera Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Evrenex (“we”) for using the Evidence Camera app. By using Evidence Camera you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

1. Using Evidence Camera

We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use Evidence Camera on devices you own or control. Please don’t copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the app, and don’t use it for anything illegal, such as photographing or recording people or places where you have no right to.

2. Your photos and notes are yours

Everything you take, import or write belongs to you. It is stored on your device, not with us, so you are responsible for keeping copies of important items (for example with Export, a backup, or your phone’s backup if you turn it on). If you lose your phone or uninstall the app, we cannot recover your items.

If you lock the app with a PIN or protect a backup with a password, keep that PIN or password safe. We don’t know it and cannot reset it, so a lost password can mean lost access to encrypted items or backups.

3. What the app’s records do and don’t prove

  • The time, place and direction saved with a photo come from your phone’s clock, location and compass at that moment. They can be wrong if your phone’s settings or signal are wrong.
  • The SHA-256 fingerprint shows whether a file has changed since it was saved in the app. It is not a certified timestamp or a legal certificate.
  • Whether a photo, video or report is accepted as evidence, for example by a landlord, insurer or court, is up to whoever receives it. We can’t promise that it will be.
  • Text reading, object finding and receipt details are suggestions made on your phone and can be wrong. Check them before relying on them.

4. Free version and ads

The free version is supported by a banner ad from Google AdMob. How ads use data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

5. Evidence Camera Pro subscription

  • Evidence Camera Pro is an optional subscription, monthly or yearly. It removes ads and unlocks the features listed in the app.
  • Payment is charged to your Google Play or App Store account when you confirm the purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may differ by country.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the period ends.
  • If a free trial is offered, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel before then.
  • You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time in Google Play (Subscriptions) or in your Apple ID settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
  • When Pro ends, nothing you saved is locked away. You can still open, share, export and restore your items; only starting Pro features again needs Pro.
  • Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their refund policies.
  • We may change prices or features in the future. Price changes for existing subscribers follow Google Play and App Store rules, including notifying you first.

6. Updates and availability

We may update, change or stop parts of the app. We try to keep it working well, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.

7. No warranty

Evidence Camera is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms, including that the app fits a particular purpose.

8. Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, lost data, lost claims or lost profits from using or not being able to use Evidence Camera. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be changed by agreement.

9. Apple users

If you got Evidence Camera from the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies. These terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without affecting the consumer protection laws of the country where you live.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
